The British system

I.G.C.S.E is administrated by the Cambridge International examinations, UK which is internationally recognized as equivalent in standard to the British GCSE,GCE examinations. Students complete their 'O' level Examinations in the 11th year of their schooling. The two year period ( grade 7 and 8) is utilized in preparing the students to get acquainted to the new system. From Grade 9, students have to choose the subjects from the syllabi offered.

International recognition

The IGCSE has an international credibility as an educational qualification. It has been accepted for matriculation purposes as a preliminary requirements for entry to all United Kingdom Universities and other Universities of the world. IGCSE is recognized by Universities and colleges throughout the world as qualification equivalent in standard to the British GCSE and the international GCE 'O' level examination.

Liberal and progressive education

The variety of learning activities, teaching, examinations etc are conducted keeping with the global changes in various fields of different subjects and also foster personality development, inculcation of values and moulding of right character. Self evaluation

The school offers a wide range of assessment techniques appropriate to different skills and attributes in various subjects. These tests include oral and listening tests, practical, project works, performance and course works as well as conventional written examination of various kinds.

The IGCSE system groups

The School offers following syllabi in 3 subject groups. The students are encouraged to take more than 8 subjects, for final 'O' level examinations.

Two level assessment in all IGCSE syllabuses the curriculum content makes clear to teachers, parents and students exactly what student will be expected to learn.

  • The decision of opting core /extended curriculum for a student / group of students / all students of a class is taken in consultation with the teacher and management. after conducting tests and taking into account the previous performance of the student. A student and the parent is informed of the decision, which may be final may depend on the students progress.
